NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., BUSINESS WIRE — Acacia Research Corporation (Nasdaq:ACTG) announced today that its Financial Systems Innovation LLC subsidiary has entered into a settlement agreement covering a patent that applies to credit card fraud protection technology with Shell Oil Company.
