Technology and Business

Technology has simplified everything from medicine to entertainment to business and beyond. In business the most obvious advancement has been the internet. If an new business opens it is essential that they create a website in order to keep a line of communication open with their consumers. The internet has also allowed some businesses to only require a website to be profitable. Some examples are Amazon in online retail, eBay in online auctions, and Gorilla Trades in online stock services. None of these companies need to have a ‘brick and mortar’ outlet through which to sell their goods or services.
