Costs of Business Technology Rising in South Africa

The Enterprise Storage and Server Group Manager of HP SA, Yergen Govender, cautions that businesses need to “consider the new reality” and “change the way they use power.” The statements come in the wake rising energy costs and rolling blackouts in South Africa.
HP’s scientists have estimated that 415 million tons of coal and 864 million tons of C02 emissions result annually from business technology.
