Printable World Maps Help Kids Learn

Recently I needed several printable world maps for my children. I give them assignments to do at home because they don’t always retain what they learned in school. I was having them find countries that have had Olympians that won the gold medal in gymnastics.
After a little while we discovered that we were in need of some maps that show an area of the world in more detain. We got a map of Europe and a map of China. Now, I know that the map of Europe shows several countries, but my kids wanted to be able to really see what they were coloring since so many of those countries are so small.
We did this kind of thing with different subjects and instead of maps the kids maybe looked up poets, but the objective was the same. When their tests came back they increased their scores in every subject–not just geography!
