Maps Help Teacher with Lesson
Posted on April 4, 2008 - Filed Under Travel
I have been planning a lesson for my students based on countries that they want to visit. I want to visit Jamaica so I brought several maps of Jamaica. Several of my students wanted to visit Norway so I brought them a map of Norway. They wanted to go there because they think it would be great to snowboard there.
And finally I brought them maps of Poland. I had them go over all of the places of destination and find geographical points of interest. They marked things like mountains, rivers, and the like.
By the end of the lesson they all wanted to go to Jamaica, Norway and Poland. I choose the sunny one and most of my snowboarding students choose Norway while the history buffs choose Poland.
