The island of Mallorca

The island of Mallorca is a tourist hotspot in Spain. Every summer, thousands of visitors flock to the island, which offers fabulous beaches and nightlife as well as cultural and historical sites of interest. Accomodations vary from youth hostels to five star hotels Mallorca and even private guest cottages and villas.

Whether visiting one of the cities on the island or venturing into the small villages and countryside, there are plenty of things to do and see on this Mediterrean isle. With a unny and warm climate, some of the more popular activities include sailing, cycling, hiking, and rock climbing. Of course, many people just want to swim or lie on the beach and relax. The more pristine environments offer opportunities for bird watching. S’Albufera Nature Park is the most important welands in the Balearic Islands.

Some of the historical and cultural attractions include Bellver Castle, La Seu Cathedral and the Monastery of Lluc. Some of the traditional villages provide a charming contrast from from the beaches and and cities. Valldemossa, Deià, and the town of Sóller off glimpses into the mountain life of Mallorca
Shoppers can find plenty of treasures on the island and there is a wide variety of restaurants, cafes and bars to explore.
