Cheap shoulder surgery can be found in Mexican hospitals where care includes cutting-edge techniques along with the personalized attention that is not always found in North American hospitals. Combining a surgery with a vacation is the new paradigm in medical tourism, where for a fraction of the cost of a procedure in the United States, you can take care of your health and enjoy your surroundings all in one go.
Most surgeons in Mexico and elsewhere outside of the States do their post graduate work in North America, Canada, or Europe where they are exposed to the latest diagnostic and procedural techniques. Communication is usually not a problem as these surgeons speak fluent English and are usually more available to explain your surgery and to answer any questions you may have. Nursing care is excellent, and the hospitals themselves are as state-of-the-art as any at home.
Another great advantage of receiving medical care in countries such as Mexico is that your loved one or friend is generally allowed to stay on a cot in the room with you, reducing hotel costs and allowing you the comfort of his or her presence.
