If you are renting your home or you live in an apartment it can be difficult to make it feel like a place you want to come home to. First off, you should ask the owner of the space, whether it is the apartment complex or the land lord of the home you are living in if you are allowed to make any cosmetic changes to the space. Some places will allow you to paint or install window coverings if they approve it.

Get some art: Frame some of your favorite art pieces for style and substance to your space.
