Twilight Theater Tickets

Okay, I admit it, I’m a Twilight fan. But, that’s no surprise to my closer friends being all my other fascinations like Firefly and Harry Potter. But, anyway, I was one of the thousands standing in line to get Theater Tickets for the Premier midnight show. The advance tickets went on sale a week before the movie even opened. I had it strategically planned out, using my boyfriend, my best friend and then me. We would take turns, each shift being 2 hrs long. This plan was executed eloquently I might add. But, only because I have an excellent boyfriend who puts up with all my whims, but wasn’t about to watch the movie with me, just stand in-line for me, and an excellent best friend who shares my love of vampires.
When it came time for my best friend and I to stand in line for the actual movie, I noticed 2 women, they seemed to be younger than me, maybe around 20, approached us and asked if we were going to see the midnight showing, and of course we all said Yes at the same time. They wanted to know if we’d sell them our tickets and that they would pay double the price. We all looked at each other and laughed. The 2 women were not as amused as we were. Then they said they’d give us a $100 for our tickets. We still just laughed and the women went up to more people standing in line and offering the $100 to any takers. No one took them up on their offer. All avid vampire fans through and through.
So, my other quirks with Twilight are: I’ve read all the books at least twice each, I own a cell phone case with the Twilight logo on it, a necklace with a quote from the book, a Twilight T-shirt and I do (in private) scream everytime I see or hear something related to Twilight. But, I know I’m not the only one.
