Natural Light and Next Day Blinds

As a painter, I am always concerned with natural light. For some reason, artificial light is just not the same as the light coming through a North facing window. This brings up questions about window coverings and decorating ideas. On one hand, to be able to adjust the intensity of the natural light coming in through the window makes an incredible difference in how the paint looks on the palette, or as it is applied to the canvas. And on the other hand, just to be able to see the colors fully, is greatly enhanced by being able to adjust the blinds for just the perfect allowance of light to pass through.

The removal of old curtains, and the installation of blinds create the means to better adjust the amount of natural light coming through the windows.
